Join us for a guided tour of our exhibition, or step inside our exclusive writing instrument manufacture. For groups of six or more, we also offer private tours for an even more personalized experience.

Inspire Writing Tour
ENJOY A TOUR THROUGH THE PERMANENT EXHIBITION
An entire wall of original handwriting from iconic figures throughout history and today. More than 400 Montblanc writing instruments, from historic fountain pens to the latest models. A closer look at the intricate craftsmanship of our nibs, and a deep-dive into the world of writing through our 360° immersive experience: Discover it all on one of our guided tours, available Tuesday to Saturday.

If you are visiting the exhibition with children aged 6 to 12, they can take part in an interactive children’s rally. The materials are available at reception.
Manufacture tour
GET AN EXCLUSIVE LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES
Step inside the heart of our manufacture – the very birthplace of our writing instruments – and experience firsthand the artistry of crafting a Montblanc fountain pen.

Architectural tour
SEE UNDISCLOSED INSIGHTS INTO DESIGN AND CONCEPT
Explore areas of the MONTBLANC HAUS that are not normally open to the public and learn more about the inspiration that shaped this building.
During the tour, we take a closer look at the exterior façade and construction designed by Nieto/Sobejano Arquitectos, and consider the question of how handwriting and architecture remain connected to this day.

Heritage Tour
A TOUR SPANNING OVER 70 YEARS IN THE KONTORHAUS
For more than 70 years, the Kontorhaus in Hamburg's distinct Schanzenviertel was Montblanc's home. Join us on a tour through this historic building and discover how Montblanc fountain pens were crafted right here back then.
Tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Meeting point for the tour: Schanzenstraße 75, 20357 Hamburg. Please use the left entrance of the Volkshochschule. Please note that the tour is not wheelchair accessible and includes some outdoor sections.
